Agreed and part of the reason, I think, is that this was a balanced line up with everyone playing a role that they were comfortable with. I hope that's a lesson that's learned.

If Berbatov is to return the choice should be him or Ruiz. To have either as an impact sub if needed would be great.

I´m starting to wonder if Berbatov is a luxury we can´t afford. We seemed to play with a lot more pace & freedom. We do not possess players of his class to play his style.

   I really enjoyed the game. Defence didn't look as shaky as it has. Good distribution from midfield and forwards who went for goal. As mentioned, everybody did a job and I thought the support was good too.

I was very proud of our players. With Berba and our other new players we are stronger and have more possibilities. Jol have doing good work this transfer window.

We played well  but this it is a bit exaggerated to say this was our perofrmance of the season.... We played a very decent 45 minutes.... We need to build on this performance and go forward as a team
