Afternoon all.

Not often you'll get a Huddersfield fan on your forum, but just wanted to make you aware of this shirt I've got on ebay, if any of you fancy a bid on it.

Cheers

...welcome Terrier, just a couple of points that may be relevant:-

1) That is not a Fulham shirt.
2) Mr Marsh is not super popular at Fulham.
3) Do you regret letting Lee Clark go as manager?

Looks like it is a ringer.

It's not a Fulham shirt and, as LBNo11 eluded to, he's not the most popular figure among Fulham fans.

Overall Sir, you're targetting the wrong market. Must try harder if you're to try to make a living from this.

...to be fair to Mel Smooth it is listed as a "Fulham Legends" shirt and we have had charity games so the shirt may have been a special with the sponsor logos quickly stitched on...

PROFILE: http://www.facebook.com/londonlegends

Former Fulham managers Chris Coleman and Roy Hodgson are back at Craven Cottage for The London Legends Cup on Sunday 29 May.

Hodgson will be Fulham`s Manager of the Football40 Fulham Legends and Chris Coleman 'Cookie` as Fulham`s Captain. Hodgson managed Fulham to the 2010 Europa League Final last season, while 'Cookie` was an important member of the Fulham team, captaining the side through the divisions to the Premier League in 2001.

Fulham will be taking on Chelsea`s Legends at 3pm, while the North London legends of Spurs and Arsenal will play in the second semi-final tie. The winners from each semi-final will go on to play in The London Legends Cup Final on the very same afternoon.

The greatest ever collection of London Legends will be on the field and in the hospitality lounges. Ossie and Ricky will reunite for the first time in years, Hoddle and Waddle are back for Spurs, even Claude Makelele and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink are in Chelsea`s line-up. An A-Z of Legends have been invited to take part, from Ardiles to Zola.

The three matches will each last for 40 minutes including a short half-time under the revolutionary Football40 rules which also include rolling substitutions and a sin bin rather than yellow or red cards.

Ticket prices are kept to the lowest for any event of this kind and quality. One ticket gives you the chance to see your heroes again in three 40 minute matches from four teams. Help A Capital Child and the Fulham FC Foundation will also benefit from the special charity auction. The former England, Chelsea and Spurs manager, Glenn Hoddle is the Technical Director of Football 40, which is aimed at the Legends market. Hoddle believes Football40 is just the format that ex-players from across the game are looking for.

"When I was approached to get involved, this just got me. I have always felt that playing 90 minutes was a problem to any player who has given up the game professionally. The key to Football 40 is being able to have rolling subs and being able to go out there and compete and perform for a short period of time. You know you can be taken off and then you can go back on and play close to the level you used to be at during your peak. It will be great to see these legends play again in a competitive tournament and I am sure it will capture the imagination of the public. I've played in games after your fitness levels have gone, you get frustrated that you can't do the things that you could, but here you can go and perform for 5 or 10 minutes because you know you'll come off and have a rest and then you go back on fresh. It's a positive thing for the game because players can extend their careers."

"As a football player, we're always envious of other sportsmen whose careers can continue after the professional game. You're very lucky to have a career in sport but to then continue it after you finish is a tremendous thing. Not all players out of football can go into management. It's not for them, but they can extend their careers and still perform in front of crowds. If it captures the imagination of the public there could be a more structured league put together, and that excited me.'

Richard Berenson, Chief Executive of Football 40, said: 'We are very excited to be launching Football40, which is a brand-new format of competitive 11-a-side football aimed at the legends market. It is football's answer to Twenty20 cricket and creates the opportunity for a single four-team tournament at a single event.'

This is a shirt from the London Legends Cup at the Cottage in 2011, probably the one Marsh himself wore.
