The headling on this story says "Liverpool's Raheem Sterling has lost his zip - Brendan Rodgers"

Now, I really can't be bothered to read about some ex QPR chav turned Scouse git, but I can only assume that one of the following statements must be true:

  • It's a very slow news day at BBC Sport, and they're forced into writing stories about fastener theft
  • Brendan Rodgers has been called as a character witness to explain the reason behind the vast swathes of Sterling kids currently roaming the North West

"Do not affix anything to this wall" - sign that was affixed to wall above turnstiles at Hammy end before someone with a clipboard replaced it with a large Fire Exit sign.

No wonder he's a bit tired, three kids by three different mothers all by the age of 16. Welcome to England 2013

Poor management? I think so, although maybe too harsh.

Do you think Liverpool will retire him now and put him out to stud ... if that's where his talents lie?     :022:
