I've never been a fan of Marsh, even when he played for us, but now that might change...

He asked the question,'Can Chelsea emulate Fulham and go all the way to the Europa final?' That made me think of other ways they could emulate us: get an owner who listens to the fans; fill the ground with supporters who want their team to win and will play a part in achieving that; have fire drills at the end of the game rather than half way through the second half; and I'm sure there's plenty more....

I think he goes to quite a few games. I bumped into him on the tube getting off at Putney Bridge Station before a match a short while ago.

He did a lot for football over here in the 70s, but I think most of us have forgotten him.

I've seen him in The White Horse at Parsons Green. I think he has a place around there as well as Florida

He lives Wimbledon way, along parkside. He usually gets the 93 to games!

I certainly will never forget Rodney Marsh. I saw his first game against Villa and he scored an absolute blinder from 30 yards at the Putney End that brought us a much needed 1-0 win. He was the promptly rewarded by being dropped! He had such natural ability and was prepared to try the unexpected. He was top goalscorer one season and I was heartbroken when he was sold to RAR for a pittance. He always says what he thinks and does rub a lot up the wrong way but I rated him. Always have time for the naturally gifted footballers.
