Can you change your name on this forum?

Want to change my name to Riether Lightning 63 for the rest of the season, and if he signs an extension, it's very likely I'll keep it for next season too. Any help?

zzamora evolved into ddeuce and then became extinct, so I'd advise you to tread carefully before you change.

Try the following:

- Under your User Profile Information
- In the section: Account Related Settings
- change the info in the box: 'Name' (this is the display name that people will see), to what you want your new name to be. 

If it doesn't work let me know and I'll try and amend it

I have looked at doing this myself, through the personal data sections previously, but it is the one item of information that you cannot change.

I've had a look and as far as I'm aware, your username can't be changed unless you delete your account and start a new one but, you can change your display name, this being the name that people see on the forum.

and yet it seems to me that zzamora morphed into ddeuce without losing his original account -- at least the number of posts, etc., didn't change IIRC. Perhaps the magic that is WhiteJC did it for him.

He did because the display name was changed but when he was banned, his original username came back. I've looked and I think it can be done by the mods only.
