I'm not sure if I have missed something, but what has happened to Chris Baird??

Think we have seen the last of Bairdinho.  Nearly left for West Brom in Jan so fully expect him to go in the summer.  Great servant for us.

Frimpong I assume will come in like for like and the rest of the team will be kept the same

Hasn't Jol already said he would like Frimpong permanently, which must signal the end for Baird.

Sadly I think we will see Baird move on in the summer.

Fimpong will no doubt come in to replace Sidwell with Enoh on the bench to come on in replacement for Frimmy or Kara.

Baird has been a great servant thought and if he does leave I will wish him all the best.

In the run up to the January transfer window (and even last summer) a priority was to bring in some specialist centre mid-field players.

Zorba was brought in (an international captain and centre mid-field player) and we persisted with Bairdinho (a converted centre half/full back) and moaned, amongst other things post Sunderland, about the engine room whilst saying Bairdinho was doing as good a job as he could but he was not the answer..

We bring Frimpong and Enoh in in January and I now fail to see how Jol will revert back to starting Bardinho at centre mid-field now Sidwell is suspended.  

So thats Bairdinho a certainty for the Toon then.....

Unfortunately for Baird we have a strong squad
Enoh & Diarra were injured last night but when you look at the players not even making the bench, its shows we really should be in the top 10
