Indeed.  Gillingham into the big time - league 1.

Why don't a lot on here like Gillingham? I've only really been into Fulham since the early 90's and can't think of anything since then.

They won't survive, or even go anywhere. Joke of a chairman who invests no money and rapes the club of anything thats made, and then invests it overseas. They only got out of that division by having a srude manager whos worked miricals on a shoe string and calling in favours. Can't stand the club but, with the right investment, they could be a lot bigger. They have a caption area all the way from the Kent coast down to Charlton/Millwall but lets hope it doesn't happen any time soon!

Horrible place, horrible club, horrible chairman, lets hope the come back down straight away

I was at that game at a young age, it was really quite scary if I'm honest! I remember the missiles being launched into our section, and the walk back to the car after the game was scary! I was continuously looking over my shoulder as I felt really intimidated.

I was with the Football in the community kids about 30 of them, and we were put in the stand opposite the main stand and totally away from the Fulham supporters, the abuse hurled at us AND at the kids who were no more than about 10/12 years old, a few of the kids were crying and it was a nightmare for the poor community staff who had to escort kids to the toilets. At the end of the game we were escorted around the pitch to where the FFC supporters were, so we could be safely taken to our coaches, at that time we had no idea what had gone on outside the ground.
Story of my life

Sadly she wasn't

Vile man. And to think he's married as well.

My worse day in football was that day 15 years ago, still feels like it was much more recently, but the animosity was before that terrible day also, remember being their when Martin ( psycho ) Thomas broke one of their players legs although another Fulham player got sent off from it

I was at that game also. It wasn't just that incodent, didn't Alan Cork get sent off at their place for something as well if I remember rightly, for clattering one of their players? We just seemed to have a long run in with that club, I was also at the 2-0 defeat where Ade Akinbwi (spelling) punched Maik Taylor and got away with it Scot free. Horrible club, horrible fans, pit of a place and when anyone around my way talks positive about them, they get a mouthful from me.
