He is a good squad player and is mostly reliable. Thoughts?

MJG

No, but saying that he is in the age bracket Jol likes.

Last Season 1 Goal 4 Yellows and played 36 games
This Season 0 Goals 6 Yellows and 25 games played

And Everton are 6th in the Table

If we're going to have a geriatric midfielder I prefer our ancient Greek.

With all due respect as good as Karagounis is it wont be wrong to have strength in depth is it

Enter the Frei

Everton fans were starting to get a bit tired of him, I don't see him joining another premier league club in the summer if I'm honest. He's just not quite good enough any more.

Why not go for his brother Gary while we are about it. No thanks.

Roger Bennett (ESPN) was saying on twitter this morning that he has two sources claiming Phil Neville will be doing broadcasting in the US next year.  Presumably that means with NBC.

Not for me thanks.

Could do younger and better. And the locals are not as bowled over by him as they used to be.

Me-ate-Live, innit??

Appears to be a good bloke and a  leader
would be great for say Watford if they make it up
Not for Fulham though ...............

Bassey the warrior

No no no no. I'd rather us keep Baird.

Why on earth should we go for Neville?!

The reason he is leaving Everton is because he is not certain a starting position. He won't be certain a starting position at Fulham or any team in the top half. He even said he will extend his career as long as possible at the top of the game. So basically he is saying he is prepared to play for the teams expected to be at the bottom end of the league next season. It is quite obvious when you think about it. He will join Villa if they stay up. It will suit him to teach young players for his coaching career that lies ahead and they are quite a big club historically.

I would feel we are still stepping backwards if Neville was the sort of player we are going for. On saying that we may be looking at another season of treading water. Hope not and hope we have real ambition next season.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Not good enough for Everton, not good enough for us.

BTW, they really don´t like him as far as I know.
