2) Being a young lad is no excuse for red card tackles.
3) What Luiz did in trying to put himself between the baby faced assasin  and the ball happens four or five times in every premier league match without punishment, wrongly in my view but there you go.
4) Sir Alex complains that it is always the retaliation that gets punished....What way would he have it then?

Nobody doubts Ferguson's achievements but he has in recent years turned into a grumpy old man. He has only ever seen things through his rosy red glasses, purchased from the team shop at a rip off price I suspect.

His motivation is second to none though. He DEMANDS excellence and zero mistakes. What Fulham get from Jol is a shrug of his shoulders when things go horribly wrong. Which would you rather have?

Jol puts on a relaxed attitude in front of the camera, but unless you are in the changing room you have no idea what he does or does not say to the players.

I think Luiz was laughing because Rafael felt the need to lash out at him, rather than because he had got him sent off. And whether Luiz played on it or not it's still, without a doubt, a red card offence.
