Agreed - he was denied a hat trick by world class goald keeping in the first minute. We have a decent front line but no mid field and an ageing defense

It was a weird game though - he didn't have a great game by any stretch and the crowd were on his back, but he ended up taking two and having the opportunity for a hattrick. Fair play to him, he got us back in to contention twice, only for the defence to go AWOL a few minutes later on each occasion.

Exactly. I've never seen someone play so badly (let's face it, everything was off) and have such a huge impact on a game.

Mr Ruiz, when you run at defences you're actually quite dangerous...
