Well here we go again as my comp is not showing as a message sent earlier...

Today, as well as being the third anniversay of our night in Hamburg, is the birthday of Old Brown Shoe. A well decorated Wing Commander in the Old Sod's Army. Using bingo termanology he is now clickery click. A top man is OBS as well as being one of the most thoughtful I have ever met. Proud to say he is my friend. His first game was the 4-5 home defeat to Newcastle, those of a similar age will be well aware of that particular game. Happy Birthday OBS and good wishes also to Mrs OBS.

...Old Brown Shoe, aka OBS, is a true friend who is always there for so many people, his exemplary and constant contribution to the TOOFIF fanzine is done in a typically understated way. Add to that he always remembers birthdays - which sadly I don't, so thanks to Mike I can wish a lovely chap a very happy birthday and many happy returns ...
