our season finishes before the final but Athletico have a match against Sporting Gijon in the league 3 days before. Will they rest their entire team? Or will players play both? Will it tire them out or give them the freshness and energy to win?

Even better is the news that Atletico have a game against Getafe on Sunday 16th May. 

Also, they play as many games as we do before the final.  But like us, they're comfortably in mid-table and so the Europa League will be season-defining for them.  The final should be a good game for the neutral then!
