Stated on website video interview... He also said he's looking to get a couple 2/3 of the loaned players back in and said he's got 14 players for the squad and is looking for another 3 or so... The last bit he was a bit vague about.

Any clues on who were expecting in?

I'm assuming out of loan players Enoh, emanuelson, manolev and karagounis are the ones we'd pick from to rejoin us.

Does anyone know why berbas not back yet? Looks like Ruiz is staying in costa until we fly out.

The thing is, I feel that it's normally mentioned (the name at least) or referred to if its been so publicly banded about as sako has and it wasn't. Perhaps that's just me though.

Ruiz was photographed sporting a new shirt along with a bunch of other Fulham players this week. Presumably this event took place somewhere in the south of England.

Berba's absence has been duly noted. There are three possible reasons:

1. He is back in Bulgaria organising a coup d'etat. As soon as he has been appointed President For Life and Supreme Ruler he will be straight back to Motspur Park.

2. As he knows what's happening on the football field a week before any of the other players, it is not considered necessary for him to start training until a week after they do, to give them a chance to catch up.

3. He forgot he was transferred to Fulham last season and turned up by mistake at Carrington and now Moyes won't let him go.

Yes, I think he said something like "...14 players and we still work on 5 or 6 players to come at this club, 3 are already here" which means another 2 or 3 new players! I'm guessing Sako (hopefully), Enoh (meh, why not?) and Manolev (please, please, please). Or maybe he meant 2 or 3 players not counting the ones who were on loan with us? Anyway, exciting times ahead, people!
"Everybody's assuming [Berbatov will go] but as far as I know he is a Man United player....my mistake. Oh my God. He's a Fulham player."

I hope kara doesn't count as a signing were too light in numbers at the moment

leaving us with only 2 strikers
CHRIS MARTIN IS SO BAD,  WE NOW PRAISE HIM FOR MAKING A RUN.

JackyFulham90

We have Ruiz , Rodallega & Berbatov. Trotta is back but hopefully Tankovic or Woodrow will be given a chance

But in that central role he is an advanced attacker we only play with 1 striker so Berbatov , Rodallega & a youngster isn't too bad

Thats my thoughts on the situation as well.
If Jol is going to continue with only Berbatov as the main striker and Ruiz behind (be him a striker or not) then we only need Rodallega and Trotta.
Berbatov & Ruiz will hold down those 2 starting positions for at least 80% of the season, with Rodders first choice sub and then Trotta can be last choice. Berbatov & Ruiz will very rarely be subbed.
Look at how much Pertic played 2nd half of last season. Do we really want to spend say 30K a wekk on a 3/4th choice striker who's not going to play enough to warrent that money when we need 2 CM's

and if one gets a long injury early doors? i wouldnt want hugo to be our loan striker for say 90% of a season

Humbled

NEED a striker.... going to be interesting to see where Jol plays Sako I have a feeling it will be through the middle.

JackyFulham90

Our new signing for Costa Rica will be Sako,  the signing after him will be someone we are not even linked with

Im with MJG. Don't think we have the funds for an expensive contingency.

10 out of 10 for point #2, CMG. Very well done sir ! (The other 2 points made me chuckle as well)
