BBC 4 extra have some old comedy stuff on. There is a new comedy from the radio that has been turned into a tv comedy called Count Arthur Strong. Saw the tv first episode last week. SO SO.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

If it's available, I recommend "'round the Horne." It was written in part by Marty Feldman and had some of the funniest stuff I've ever heard. You got to love a programme that features characters named:

Dame Celia Molestrangler
The Reverend Unseemly Dogposture

and the like.

Friday evening 6:30, Radio 4 will have "the news quiz", "the now show" or something else, whatever it is it'll be worth listening to.

"I'm sorry I haven't a clue" is also worth a listen when its on (normally Monday evening 6:30)

you should be able to get these on 4 extra?

My reply was intended to be a straightforward, helpful suggestion.  I'm sorry you took offence where none was intended.

I used to listen to Scott Mills. He's pretty funny and he gets some good guests on. When it was Scott, Becky and Chappers (yes, Mark Chapman) it was one of the best podcasts/shows on air.

Fighting Talk is good, but I'm not sure what's happening with it come September seeing as Mr Murray is going to TS.

The Bronsons

The radio (original) version of Little Britain is fantastic. Much better than the TV version.

And the radio (original) version of The Mighty Boosh - also better than the TV version.

And 50s stuff like Beyond our Ken, Round the Horne and of course Hancock's Half Hour.

Lee and Herring's Fist of Fun was good too.
