Both Bony and Michu will be a dangerous pair this season. I can see Bony getting 10+ goals and he'll be an absolute steel at 10 million quid. Pacey, both good on the floor and in the air, strong and reads the game very well. Michu will be up there with him, chipping in with the goals and will only get better.

Shelvey had a good game tonight, sitting in his most favorable position just behind the 2 strikers and doing what he was bought for, shipping balls up to the front men. He was making some decent runs, causing a nuisance and even attempting shots when the strikers dropped off. Hmm!! Does this sound like something Fulham are lacking in midfield right now?

Anyway, Swansea being Swansea passed the ball around with easy tonight and some of their football was good to watch at times. They never really got out of 2nd gear and easily brushed aside Malmo 4-0.

I know it's only Malmo, but I'm afraid to say that I think Swansea have overtaken Fulham in the Premiership and have really moved on whilst we've chosen to remain stale. They've got on with their business pre-season without any fuss or hitches, and I was impressed with some of their Spanish debutantes tonight who look like a class act.

Oh well, I suppose there's Darren Bent to look forward to, Lee Clattermole and possibly Taarabt on loan. Up the Fulham!

Swansea are a really good side with some quality players
We have Stekelenburg , Riether , Hangeland , Dejagah , Ruiz & Berbatov in our squad we certainly don't lack quality,  hopefully this year we can rival Swansea for a top 8 finish

Ordar

Swansea playing quality tonight. Can't help but admire they way they play. Big fan of Laudrup

Ruiz11

Laudrup in the running to be the next Madrid manager I reckon, apparently he rejected several offers from bigger clubs this summer. He'll stay for one more season at Swansea then move on. The squad they have now is very good, loads of depth in the middle of the park, where De Guzman and Amat are on the bench tonight. Would be starters at Fulham.

Deanothefulhamfan

I agree with the above..... they will be a top 8 team this year

Ruiz11

Canas, not Amat, if I may be permitted to correct myself!

Jimpav

Good side with a good manager. Be interesting to see how they cope with Europa League demands. It impacted on our form towards the end of both campaigns.

You mention their star man getting 10+ goals this season but I think Bent is more than capable of this. Berbatov will also be amongst the goals so I wouldn't expect us to be too far of Swansea.

i agrre they have some good players and play good football, but i still think we are better. cant see us getting smashed 4 1 at home by anyone this year. we just need our forward players to gel and we will be off

I've long admired Swansea, they play the best stuff in the league in my opinion. How I wish we could play that way.

Actually Shelvey played a deeper role with licence to roam forward. Michu played in the hole. Shelvey has massively impressed me.

Take off those specs mate, we are some way off being that good. We could be better this season but that remains to be seen.

I can see him taking over from Wenger, would be a perfect fit. The quality of players he has drawn to Swansea, you wonder what could he do with a little more money and draw of champions league club in London

Swansea just lost 4-1 at home to Man U this past weekend and they are a pretty good team.  We will have our games where we don't show up.

I'd take Williams to play alongside Brede and Davies on the left. Would take Rangel as a backup. They have a good defence.

To Swansea? No, I don't. They won't thrash teams that often I don't think as they don't take enough shots but their general play is often outstanding. We are pretty solid defensively now I feel.
They will inevitably outplay us but we could sneak a win if we take our chances.
