The season is drawing closer, Jol has said he wants to change our attack to have more pace & also creativity in midfield, we have the players in our squad to do this, we certainly need to strenghten the squad but I hope Rodallega , Mesca & Kasami get there chances Monday. We seem to be playing a 4-4-1-1 at the moment would love to see a line up of

It will be intresting to see who he picks but it would be nice to see Kasami in central midfield

Which would mean we have a bench of Stockdale , Senderos , Hughes , Richardson , Duff , Dejagah , Frei , Sidwell , Karagounis , David & Trotta which shows although we certainly need to strengthen the squad we have a lot of quality in our side, we just need something different as although I rate Jol our play is very slow which is frustrating when we have quite a few pacey players in the squad

I think that to make the most out of Ruiz and Berba we need to play a narrow 4-3-3 with Berba in the middle, Ruiz on the right and Mesca/Kaca on the left. It gieves us the flexibility we need plus it plays both Berba and Ruiz in the positions they have been best in the past. It gives us three in the middle of the park (if I had my own way) Boateng holding then Kasami and Dejagah. The back 4 picks itself, we would look something like this.

I think people are just trying to give him a chance and mainly looking for some creativity. Sidwell/Boateng/Karagounis do not give us any really creative passing.
We are just looking from some kind of spark I think.

I think thats harsh, karagounis is a very good passer of the ball, just nowhere near mobile enough to be effective in the premiership.

I think you need to try once to pack the middle. Kasami, Sidwell, Boateng, Ruiz, Dejagah... All behind the ball. Berba as a lone striker
