Alright so Anzi are having this massive clearance, as a lot of you probably already no so i feel there are 3 players in the team that would be perfect for us;

Ignor Denisov; Is a very highly rated cdm, 29 years of age and would plug our cap in centre midfield- would be perfect combo with chantome of Psg or Gargano of Napoli

Boussoufa; I know we already have a good amount of attacking midfielders at the club but he has bags of flair and ability and would work perfectly with Taarabt definitely think he would be worth it.

Lacina Traore; Lastly, I feel Traore would be amazing for us, at the age of 22 6ft 6'' good at finishing he'd fit perfectly into our striker role and am fpr sure that Jol needs to take advantage of the situation at Anzi.

Anyone on Anzhi's books would be mad to join a midtable side who isn't playing in Europe.

Yeah, but it looks like they'd be staying home there, too. At least we have a shot at Europe next year. Besides, given a choice between playing mid-table in the Prem and on a banned team in the Russian Sooper League, which way would YOU go?

As to the thread subject, Denisov would probably fill a more current need: More protection for Steklenburg. The other players sound good, but only if we shift a few of our current crop. If we do lose Frei or Kaca, we can look to these names again.

Drake44444

Their wages are all inflated.

I think Lacina Traore is 6' 8" !?

No we don't. Anzhi, with or without their biggest name players have a better chance of qualifying for the Europa League again than we do. They aren't banned either.

Denisov would have been brilliant for us in the middle.... Shame

@jolslover

add jucilei to that list great passing cm

So long as we don't sign Eto'o:

"There were reports that a rift between newly signed Russia captain Igor Denisov and £130,000-per-week striker Samuel Eto'o, with Meulensteen caught in the middle, had destroyed the Dutchman's authority.

There are apparent precedents here, with Eto'o's alleged unwillingness to work with previous Anzhi coaches Gadzhi Gadzhiev and Yury Krasnozhan seeing them leave."

Sounds a real troublemaker.

A midtable PREMIER LEAGUE side though. It's the most reputable league in the world.

Players like Lacina Traore and Igor Denisov do not need to move to a midtable Premier League side to prove themselves. Most reputable league in the world is the Champions League.

A lot of these players went to Anzhi for the money and then for the project. With Russia's low top tax rate, there's no way they're going to settle for a serious loss of money signing relatively measly contracts with Fulham.

Just seen they have rejected a bid of £34m for Willan, they can't be that broke then
