That booed Taarabt when he came on. He's going to have to do something big to influence me to like him, so I am giving him the chance

What a cretin

Well done Riether Lightning, thats class, bet he cant wait for the next home game, all i can say is lucky i wasnt at the game as those booing would of got a mouthful from me, never booed in my life let alone a player making his debut.

All the time hes got a Fulham shirt on his back, hes one of us, and should be at least made to feel welcome on his debut

Very disappointing to hear this, would those booing be brave enough to do it to his face in the street, i doubt it
do you think he would pull out a knife if someone bood him on the street? I know he is a nutter but I'm sure he isn't that mentally unstable as to get in a tear up over something as silly as a little boo. Didn't boo him myself but i don't want him at Fulham (not whilst he is still a qpr player )

Booing a Fulham player pathetic - He tried hard today and will be good for us - he was cheered around me in the JH stand

Ruiz11

Why boo a new player who needs the fans' support and could be a big asset for us?

wadey

ive been going to the cottage since 1966 and can put my hand on my heart and say ive NEVER EVER booed a Fulham player...and yep ive seen some awful awful performances from individual and team...what goes on in anybodys head that leads them to BOO one of our own completely baffles me....I suggest if you or anybody else wants to BOO any Fulham player get yourself to scumford bridge or laughtass road.....STAY AWAY FROM CRAVEN COTTAGE!!!!!!

What are you going on about, my point was those booing wouldnt do it to his face, didnt mention he was a nutter or anything, dont try and put words on my mouth please,

all im saying is its easy to boo and be abusive from the stands but they wouldnt do it to his face, if they did im sure hed just laugh at them

I met him the other day and he seemed to be happy hereand  was looking forward to his time with us, IF he disrectspects the fans like Zamora, then hed deserve some abuse, but at leaset give him a chance

ok then, why wouldn't someone do it to his face then? And like I said, I won't boo him but for me the sooner his loan ends the better. His short term fix will stifle the progression of kaka mesca and frei and hurt us in the long run. Not to mention, I don't think prem teams should be allowed to loan any player in. Meant to be the wealthiest league in the world and we can't buy our own players

If it wasn't for controversy, I wouldn't have been born. I was just saying well done to everyone that joined me in the booing (because there are sometimes when being on your own isn't such a great thing).
@MattRhys63 - be warned, there will be a lot of nonsense

Now it's clear you're going out of your way for some attention...

Booing is something that children do at pantomimes.

Why grown men choose to do it at football matches I will never understand.

Cheers Logicalman, Lighthouse, Northern Cottager, looking forward to your company.
Here's to a decent season~ with a quick striker coming soon I hope. Personally I was disappointed we seemed to take little interest when Gary Hooper came available recently. Sort of movement the Berbs and Taarabts of this world like to see when they have the ball. Or am I overrating him. An old Southend fan mate of mine said he had a great can-do attitude. Someone like him ~just 25~ would be very welcome by the riverside eh? But who?

ive been to games when the whole crowd has booed at half time or at full time. Personally i feel if your not allowed to boo ( at the team, and not individuals) to show that you are dissatisfied with a performance then surely you shouldn't be allowed to cheer either.

Booing our best player (after Ruiz) in terms of market value*, on his debut...  fp.gif

I wonder if there are others on this forum who have booed Taarabt... Come on, reveal yourselves!  086.gif
