Marlet, AJ and Ruiz....big money signings and Fulham don't seem to go well. A bit concerned though, agree with everyone, there is a NEED.
At this early stage, if finish is above 15th, that will be a bonus.

Concerned.  Less than a week to go and it is the first time in a long while that I am not looking forward to the start of the season (and that's not because of 5.30am start to go to Sunderland)

The squad deficiencies from last August remain
It is unlikely that all 3 promoted teams will be relegated
Each season an unexpected 'established' side struggle's
A side that finishes a season poorly often fails to address the slump and continues the poor form into the next season
With a new owner in any business there is uncertainty and change.  There is no guarantee that the change will be for the better

Focusing on signing cover should not be the main aim this week. We need one of Bent and a CM by the Sunderland game, and if Riise goes, a LB as well.

It's majorly worrying that we don't just need strengthening in key areas but ALSO cover for other areas. We really are lacking.
