Our passing game looks great at times, just no penetration; nobody making runs from midfield so the ball just goes back to our defence all the time.

Ruiz is a great playmaker but tends to stop and admire his passes rather than busting a gut to get into the box to receive the one-two.

Berbs tries when he's already up front but in practically every move we make he's involved in the build up, so he's in left midfield or on the half way line when the ball finally gets crossed into the box.

Maybe we need a midfielder who'll make runs from deep? Because maybe in only one or two occasions in that game did we have two or three players in the opposition box when the ball found its way into there.

Ideally we would have players making runs from deep but given we don't and Ruiz is a good finisher we should just push him further forward.

For Parma's first goal, there was no alertness and no urgency in Stek's positioning .  He ambled to the near post, probably thinking the ball was going out, and then was caught completely by surprise with the cross.

I only hope that his attitude in competitive matches will show a much greater intensity.
