Bought a ticket for a 79 year old friend in Hammersmith end today for Man U game. I bought it on line and there was no option for a reduced rate because of his age. Is this new this season as i have always been able to get him a concession ticket before for category A games.

Sounds like a bug in the system.  On the Man Utd ticket info page, they're advertising the concessionary rate as £39

I'd phone up the ticket office, get them to reissue a concession ticket and refund you the £10 difference

There were different concessionary rates but only for young people not old. I'll get in touch with the club, although not by phone as about 3 hours were spent yesterday trying to get a ticket in the first place.

If it helps at all, it explicitly states on the same page that concesions are under 21/over 65.  So you're well within your rights to expect a concession based on that info.  The only conditions in which concessionary rates are not offered for category A games apply to blocks E, F, T, W, X and the Putney End (see http://www.fulhamfc.com/help/faq/booking-tickets).  Someone's not updated the back end of the system properly by the sounds of it.

Phones are always clogged on the first day of sale for a big game.  Hope you get it sorted quickly today!
