Apart from the money, I can't think of worse jobs in football than being involved with the England team, at any level. The quality of player is just not good enough to justify the expectation & constant media attention. Young English players are rarely given a chance in the premier league, instead most teams buy from abroad for the finished article rather than try & develop home grown talent. English players are by far the minority in the premier league. Compare that to Spain & Germany, (arguably the 2 top teams in the world), where most players in their top league are from that country.

Sounds like most people could batter keane if the rumours are true. Got knocked out by a youth team player about 10 years ago. Also got his arse whipped by an off duty soldier while on the piss in Dublin a couple of years ago.
