... well, one of about 38 things that drives me crazy at any one given moment.

Why do posters

(a) persist in starting a thread on the same subject as another thread on the same page?

(b) start a thread with the identical initial comment they've used multiple times before?

The only thing I can come up with is that they don't read any threads except for those they start. Since the whole idea of a forum is to exchange ideas, ... I just don't get all this.

Perhaps these people want to give the admins something to do? Given that we are always so well-behaved and never cause any hardship on them...
