For the more paranoid individuals out there (like myself) has anyone else noticed that when purchasing tickets that the club seems to have stored debit/credit card information - dodgy if you ask me.

Airfix

Don't see why.  So long as the site used for payments is a https page, you should be fine.  The club have the right to store credit and debit card details (they have mine, due to my being part of the Home Cup-Tie scheme).  So long as they comply with the relevant data protection legislation, they are fine.

Wingnut

You can delete the stored card details if you wish and there is an option on the payment page to prevent the storage of the details, iirc.

Once the details are stored within the data protection regulations and you give them permission on the purchase page, they are allowed to do so.
Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

The Doctor

Have noticed it.  Amazon do similar.  Means you have to double-check now and again if you've more than 1 card or get issued a new card number

Jack Fulham

I thought they gave you the option to save your card details?

Their has been a tick box in the past.
