Lost 28-2 last week and are getting beat 19-6 right now. No offense. Seem just as bad as last year when they won only 2 games and the worst record in the NFL. I hope Kahn doesn't view this as progress otherwise we are in huge trouble.

Now now, Jack. You know them's apples and oranges.

And you know you shouldn't be talking pointy football!

Both defeats have come against average teams as well. Looks like its gonna be yet another season of misery for the Jags  051. Oh well at least they've got the weather down there  064.gif

Turn down the touchdown! Local TV station apologise for showing Khan's woeful Jaguars ahead of Broncos v Giants clash

Finally we can understand the reason new Fulham owner Shahid Khan needed some light relief away from his American football team.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are so bad a local TV broadcaster in the US displayed a news-ticker message APOLOGISING for having to show one of their games on Sunday.

Due to NFL TV rights rules local stations must show away games of local sides, so the city of Orlando were forced to watch the Jaguars take on the Oakland Raiders.

Make U.S happy: The Jacksonville Jaguars cheerleaders spice up half-time at Craven Cottage on Saturday

While the rest of the country got to watch Peyton and Eli Manning go head-to-head as the Denver Broncos took on the New York Giants – a match-up akin to heavyweights the Klitschko brothers finally deciding to slug it out in the ring – local broadcaster WKMG-TV were forced into airing the Jaguars.

This is a side who had an all-time team low finish last season and opened this one by scoring just two points.

The TV station were in no way prepared to take the blame for it, flashing up this news-ticker during the match: 'In accordance with NFL policy, WKMG must carry all Jacksonville Jaguars away games. We apologise for any inconvenience.'

Station manager Skip Valet added: 'I know it's frustrating.'

Even on the station's website they highlight in bold that they are 'required by the NFL to air all Jacksonville Jaguars road games' on their scheduling page – and this is a station broadcast to people who live only two hours away and are most likely to be Jaguars fans.

Since buying Fulham from Mohamed Al-Fayed this summer, Khan has so far brought over the Atlantic his cartoon handlebar moustache and the Jaguars's cheerleading squad, who performed at half-time at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

Judging from the reaction in the States, let's hope he leaves his American football team behind.
