Charltons crowds halved in just two seasons... no sky money...no quick return to the top league... investors cut their losses and move on ..a nightmare I know but could we still survive?
You are my Fulham, My only Fulham,
You make me happy, When skies are grey,
You'll never know just, How much I love you,
So please don't take,My Fulham...Away

In short, we would be fine I think.

The parachute money would give us enough time to remove the big earners, and the time we have been in the top flight has boosted the infrastructure of the club, plus gained us a generation plus of core supporters.

Parachute money + talent in the academy + a wealthy owner who'll want to protect his investment.

If we're going to be relegated this really wouldn't be a bad year for it to happen.

Don't see why not. Happened before and we're still here. Touch and go and it took a miracle, but we survived.

The above table shows how indebted we are to MAF when you consider that only other team in that table has featured in the to division since it became the premier league.

Agree about MAF . Mo had a special bond to Fulham through his son Dodi, theres no special bond with the current owners, a couple of failures to get promoted then when the tv parachute money runs out so could they.

......on the other hand, look what happened to Chester City, the top club of the division at that time......

The Equalizer

It's not like we've got a team full of miscreants on £100,000 a week, and players who would be snapped up at the earliest opportunity by other Prem sides, so I reckon we'd be fine. We might even win something again!
"We won't look back on this season with regret, but with pride. Because we won what many teams fail to win in a lifetime – an unprecedented degree of respect and support that saw British football fans unite and cheer on Fulham with heart." Mohammed Al Fayed, May 2010

Forever Fulham

Isn't it harder than ever to climb back up, once relegated?  I thought I saw a statistic somewhere about the relegated clubs that made it back to the EPL over the last 15 years.  If you don't get back in a year...
