Perhaps Jol is coaching Scotty Parker's Dutch accent, so he can give authentic half time pep talks, while Jol just sits there, feeling unlucky..?

Scott Parker identifying when Fulham need to score more goals is one of my favourite Fulham-based quotes of all time.  Perhaps that was our problem against Cardiff, Parker was not there to say "score more goals".

In 2007 the problem was we had only won once and were conceding too many goals in the last 10 mins....  and in fact undersanchez we were mega cheteated at arsenal and middlesborough by some very questionable refereeing. Jol has not had two games this season where the ref cost us. If we would have beteaen arsenal and boro in those two games we would have been off to a flyer and then who knows what might have been with a fiollowing wind and a bit of confidence.

Gus Poyet is 4/6 on favourite to be our next permanent manager with Victor Chandlers. I don't know how well informed they are on football, but on horse racing they are often ahead of the game compared with other major bookmakers.

He is also odds on to be Sunderlands new manager ... either the bookies have got one of them wrong, or Poyet is going to have a very busy year ;-)

In my view any one of the three would be an improvement. Jol won't turn it around as he has not got the capability to do so, as palpably demonstrated in over two years at the Club. The man is incompetent in the most basic requirements of a football team manager.

We need someone who's played the game at a high level, has a record of nurturing/using young talented players, and someone with the balls to drag Berbatov when he just doesn't fancy it on the day.
