Jol got Bent in to play with Berba

Just read it in Mr Jol's Palace preview.

Previous comments must have been lost in translation.  Either that or he's forgotten what he said the other week.

Oh, come on! All he said before was that Bent can't always start, not that he will never start. Of course he got Bent to play with Berba!

What's interesting is his last comment: "Against Stoke, Berba had to come off to bring on Bent and he scored. We haven't really played in the formation I had in mind but I won't tell you which formation that was."

How hush-hush of him.

Has to be this formation...  Jol loves a 4 -3 - 3 with interchangeable people at the top or more like a 4 -3 -2 - 1 like we did when Dempsey and Dembele were around.  We played some good stuff with those two and Ruiz playing a 433.

He wants Ruiz, Berba, and Bent playing together which is great but our midfield is suspect then.  I personally would like to get Boateng and Dejegah in when fit but I think Jol will do this on Monday.

Playing with Bent and Berbatov is like effectivley playing with 9 men. Add in either Ruiz or Taarabt and we're down to eight. This is goals main problem I feel- too many luxury players.
