Ben, American football pitches are very small. I believe 100 yards long and ridiculously narrow. (not sure but I think 50 yards).They play down the middle all the time so I guess a grass verge would be wide enough.

Not sure the Cottage changing rooms will be big enough for one team, let alone two american football squads/coaches
