This is why we need a change at the top......

Last year he was hopeless, and this year he is a world beater and it is all down to confidence.

Jols comments suggest that he is not capable or willing to give his players confidence, and if so this season is a lost cause until he has gone.

Remember that our players are very good players, but the team spirit and structure is wrong. It needs fixing

Ramsay was coming to Fulham at one stage last year if we were to believe the press reports.  Sigh.

Both Kieran Richardson and Darren Bent comment on his good man management skills. I really do believe the players love Jol, and it's possible that could lead to worse.

The Bronsons

Players are unlikely to criticise the guy who picks the team, and if they can't think of anything nice to say they'll usually say nothing, at least in public.

Plus so much of what we read is spin, and undated spin at that.

Plus how much of a judge of man-management skills is Darren Bent? Or is he just saying, "Jol says hello to me and tells me I'm a great player, and I love to hear that?"

Brede had loads of good things to say about Roy. I don't remember a single comment about Jol, and that's despite Jol making him captain. I'm sure Berbatov loves him, but beyond that? Who knows.

Anyone else get the idea that he is too friendly with them instead of being more forceful?

This is his team now and he was worked with a lot of them before, I just get the impression they don't see him as the boss. That way his man management may be classed as good, but his management in general is terrible.

We need someone with a bit of steel to force home an idea and a formation on the team (I'd love Bielsa/Hiddink to get the players working hard and we'd be able to see who really wants it then  079.gif)
