Yes but he settled with AVB  so he was able to  work again

Forget it but expect more of the same. This is the type of creative journalism that we must expect so long aswe are in the bottom three.

Yep, had a conversation with someone tonight and Di Matteo is still on Chelsea's books. They are still paying off his contract, and he's getting 130k a week. If he takes another job, he'll lose it so it ain't going to happen any time soon.

This is the quote from the BBC Gossip section

Roberto Di Matteo, 43, is still being paid £130,000 a week by Chelsea, despite being sacked as manager 12 months ago. The Italian was unable to reach a settlement after being dismissed last November, and will continue to receive the money until June 2014 unless he takes another job.

My first choice would be Di Matteo no doubt about it.
100% success record in the champions league, what more do you want?

100% sacking rate also...

Abramovich sacking you is hardly a black mark on your CV.  You just got him on a bad day.

What about at a similar size club to us in WBA?
we won't be seeing Di matteo anytime soon, appaently he was unable to reach a settlement with Chelsea and is being paid £140k a week until June 2014 or - until he gets a job. We are only paying Jol about a £1m a year a difference of £4.5m.

Phew! Scandalous! How can anyone be expected to live on that for doing nothing?
