I'd like to see some fresh ideas. The Sidwell/Parker combination has failed - time to try something new. I rate Sidwell, but he and Parker are too similar. Boateng's job would be to distribute the ball to our creative players, provide extra defensive cover, whilst bridging the gap to the midfield. Too often, the opposition have bypassed the midfield and been able to run directly at the back four. Hence, why we've conceded so many shots per game. Boateng's presence would also free up Parker & Kasami, so hopefully we'd create a little more too - especially as Bent is useless without the service. Berbatov (this season) has been useless full stop, and should drop to the bench unless Meulensteen has reformed his attitude in the past fortnight.

I think Boateng is key this week and I would play Taarabt in the number 10 position to give him a run out.

I pray that it is a bit different to previous weeks, but I know that is asking a lot

The middle of the park needs a change.  Whether that is Parker or Sidwell making way we just need someone in there that can make a difference.

Mr. horse, I guess you don't like Sidwell, not even on the bench. He has limitations but has been the most consistent midfielder all season. (Consistently poor some might say).Works his rear end off and sneaks a few goals here and there.
I agree, some changes needed, but I would prefer to see Parker rested (of the two).
