Can someone give me a name of a branded music shop that sells CD's (similar to Virgin Megastore before it closed down, or HMV). Currently out in Florida and I've been instructed by someone back home to pick up some CD's for them.

Any help appreciated

It depends on where you are in Florida to be honest really. All of your big box stores will carry some music, though now its the age of the download the selection isnt that great. Most malls that i have been to usually carry a store that caters to cds and dvds. Internet is amazing for music if you cant find what you are looking for.

Kissimmee, just south of Orlando.

The point made about music stores is true, but the person I'm buying for (my grandad) doesn't trust the internet for music. A couple of months ago he ordered a Frank Sinatra tape (because his car still has a cassette player) off Amazon, but when it came through the post it was a CD instead. So that's why I've got to try a proper shop to see if they have it

Im not familiar with that area, however a basic music shop search in that area will yield results, hopefully.

If you can't find a dedicated music store, you can always try Best Buy. There are all over and have an ok selection.
Its not that I could and others couldn't.
Its that I did and others didn't.

Do music stores outside of old record shop or urban hip places even exist anymore? Gun to head I am not sure they exist, sad to say. RIP "Musicland".

There used to be a big Virgin store at Downtown Disney, haven't really looked for it recently so not sure whether it may have been replaced by the new Bowling Alley. I normally pick up cheap CD's from Walmart, for more specialist stuff try Best Buy stores.

Looks like they have a Best Buy which will have cd's and such.

Here is the addy...

Places that sell CD's are getting fewer and fewer. Best Buy has a much smaller section than it used to. I would suggest looking for an independent the store in the area. Mainly they cater to hipster kids who like to by stuff on vinyl, but they usually have a good CD section.

Best buy is great. Went there yesterday. We have nothing like this place in the uk
