Looking at all the teams around us and their fixtures next weekend, we stand a chance of moving up the table.
Cardiff v West Ham
Everton v Norwich
Fulham v Sunderland
Southampton v West Brom
Tottenham v Palace
Man United v Swansea

The way I see it, Everton, us, Southampton, Spurs and United will win. Cardiff and West Ham are looking at a draw. With those results, the table will look like this:

13   Fulham      22
14   Swansea           21
15   West Brom      20
16   Norwich       19
17   Cardiff      19
18   Crystal Palace   17
19   West Ham      16
20   Sunderland      14

Looks pretty good until you look at our fixtures after Sunderland

We need a win, regardless of what the others do. The next 5 games after this, we'll be lucky to pick up another 4 points. The Sunderland game is massive.

We're desperate for a win against Sunderland & for other results to go our way.
The next 11 games (after Sunderland), all look pretty tough unfortunately. The sooner we can get points on the board the better.

Yes our home games against Liverpool and Southampton are vitally important in the run of games after Sunderland. Although Man U are nowhere near their usual selves at home this season, maybe we could pull off a big surprise?
