This squad is now well past its useful life. Old guys with an inflated view of what they can do. A major re-build is needed, basically at least 6 of the first team today will not be playing in 2 seasons time. 

Do we re-build in the PL or the Championship?

Does the owner understand this or give a sh*t?

Regardless of league the team needs breaking up and rebuilding. Only a handful of the current 1st team could survive the cull on merit. Parker, Kasami, Hangeland, Stekelenburg and, erm, that's about it... Integrate the youngsters and bring in lots of new young blood.
