I agree, but I'd play Parker and Sidwell. I'd swap Bent for Berba or Taarabt and play Dempsey on the left of a front three. probably play Riise as he's better defensively than Richardson and Norwich aren't quick on the right hand side. If Stek is fit he goes straight in. Also we shouldn't rush Hangeland, only play him if he's ready.

Before you all start talking about Mesca, his loan at Crewe expired on the 7th. Will probably play tomorrow night and then return, like Burn.

The prime objective on Tuesday is to prepare for Saturday, therefore proven and fit players like Sidwell, Parker,  and Reither should be rested. Hangeland if ready should be given a 45 minute run out and the youngsters who did so well in the game at Norwich should be given another game.

A cup defeat at home to Norwich would not go down well but another 4goal premiership thrashing on Saturday would be thoroughly demoralising.

Fairly confident that none of this starting eleven will be starting against Arsenal, so our main men still get something of a rest. Of the substitutes, I would put Hangeland in for Hughes for the second half.
