according to the bbc web site west ham are unhappy at rene's comments re Morrison. Whilst i sort of agree with them being unhappy I am also iritated because that club are hardly paragons of integrity. I shouldn't need to remind anyone what they did regarding Tevez which was knowingly worng. And I should also remind them their manager is one of the worst for sending teams out with the intent of succeeding by cheating. Also the owners of west ham are certainly in a very sleazy industry and should be careful before they get out of their prams.

But despite this I did think rene in his open honest manner should perhaps have been a bit more cautious with his words.

Harry's formula works.

He's a wonderful player and I'd love to have him at this football club but it's only a rumour and anyway he's someone else's player so I can't talk about him.

What have they got to complain about? We put in a bid. They rejected it. It's public knowledge. No underhand shinnanigans.

Is it the same administration team that done the Tevez thing?

So no contact between the player and Fulham ,says an agent...seems like extreme case of smoke and mirrors now....as long as West Ham remain unhappy for a long time I will remain extremely happy.

So the interesting twist on the Morrison story is that Allardyce tried to pressure Morrison and his father to sign up with Mark Curry, the agent - Allardyce's agent and Carrol's and most people Big Sam signs. The Morrisons refused and so now he is not getting a new contract and will be allowed to go. Funny old game.....

Every day is a Fulham day

I'm glad to see us doing a little bit of this as it is usually done to us by others like Manure. It is a bit of a dirty old game. Ha ha

Rene was naive in what he said. He should have stopped at we have had a bid rejected & we move on

If the roles were reversed & Sam had said what Rene had about one of ours then I'd be unhappy

Much prefer it if we went about our business quietly.

Also I do not see where Morrison fits in with what we already have & what we need.

It was on a call in show with an irate Wet Spam fan who has links at the club - he went into a lot of detail about Curry's dealings with Big Sam. Sadly its tough to verify as its all private dealings and no pressure to report the details of agency relationships other than inside the FA in terms of agents needing to be registered. Its the dirty shady side of football that never seems to see the light. Jol had a similar thing going with his agent representing a lot of our purchases and stated targets.

Agreed FFC73, Fulham have a great and tough partnership in Parker & Sidwell, both should be in England, in my opinion.

I also concur with Nose regarding Allardyce's ethics or lack of therein, a man who encourages the "percentage game" with every trick in the book thrown in for good measure.  Because of the Tevez debacle, West Ham only survive by being favoured by the thoroughly corrupt venal, shark-faced, rapscallion Richard Scudamore!!

Rene's offending words seem to have been that he knows Morrison would like to join him at Fulham. Well when you think about it everyone should know that, whatis more attractive to a young talented midfielder a ball playing manager or a long ball specialist. Of course he would rather play for Rene.

hovewhite

hammers only happy do it rather than having it put on the other foot, maybe they know how it feels now.
Which is no bad thing.

The Rock

You mean, the Hammers who done one over us and especially Shef Utd who have yet to reclaim their place in the Prem from the Tevez saga? Too bad.

Thing is though, there are certain questions managers have to deflect, but in Rene's case he can't help himself blurting out too much information - something that Alex Ferguson had to famously warn him about at least once.

It was ok answering about the bid, but the bit about he knows he wants to join Fulham because he has known him for a long time was naive at best imo.

I'd be surprised if we get away with this one as regardless of West Ham's and Allardyce's rep, it didn't sound good.

RAVEL MORRISON has threatened to go on strike at West Ham to force through a move to Fulham.
The 20-year-old bad boy issued his shock ultimatum to stunned club chiefs yesterday.

sorry don't have paid for subscription so maybe total rubbish. Made me smile and think of the Man U tricks getting Saha

We have done them a bit in the past remember selling Boa to them when he was past it. We had the best seasons from Zamora and Pantsil after buying them from West Ham. It all goes round in circles

David Allen Crankshaw

I really hope that we don't get Morrison. He was shipped out of Manchester United because of his off field activities. Fergie didn't suffer fools.
