I thought he got some solid tackles in and covered quite well as did Burn vice versa, made the one 'Senderos' mistake in the first half letting their player get past him on the byline.My only concern over Brede at the game on Tuesday was that I had the impression he got outjumped from a standing position for crosses a number of times. Watching the full recording last night  he did get outjumped but only because he only just got off the ground and it wasn't timing. This was his problem before the injury, I hope it was just lack of fitness andrustiness in decision making and not signs of a player that is less than they were before the injury.

We know how good he has been. If his operation has sorted his back out he needs game time to get back to his best.

No operation is going to bring Senderos up to that standard.

I have to disagree. Brede was happy to pass the ball to midfield during the match unlike many of our other defenders who play it around the back for ages which doesn't go down well with the fans. Its so simple yet saves a lot of frustration and speeds our play up, not to mention that he makes good blocks and definately has more of a presence in both boxes.

I think him coming back is a huge relief although he will not keep us up on his own.

this is something i may be wrong with, but i thought that Hangers and Senders complimented each other, i think that Burn will be better than both of them in time, i also think he will be ok against Arsenal, don't really think it matters who is at the back in this game.
