I have this recurring nightmare of Swansea away 1994 - we needed a win on last day of the season to stay up in old third division - lost 2-1 to Swansea who had nothing to play for - we were insipid - remember stopping off on M4 service station on way back and meeting the team who were absolutely devastated

On the other hand we could dream of that 7-1 thrashing we gave then in the cup one year.

The worst train journey back from a game I have ever been on.

The Enclosurite

The only positive I now take from that day is the fact that, in hindsight, it was the best thing that happened to the club as it would eventually lead to the chain of events that sees us where we are now.

The chain of events of now stretching back a year, could well see us go back to where we were then.

dont ! - I am trying to stay positive as I have been told to do so on this board !!!
I wish I was going tonight though

from the "text commentary" on the offal...

It's the 65th meeting between Fulham and Swansea tonight. The Whites have won 31, Swansea 23 and there have been ten draws.

I must say I'm surprised that we've played Swansea so many times, I'd have said far less games than 65

not that devastated. The following day they were at a barbecue at one of the player's houses at Crawley Down and were all having a very good time.
