I think we should probably cut our losses at this stage and start looking for players who will stay with us in the (inevitable) event that we end up in the Championship.

If we buy obvious quality at this point, I'm not sure it will be enough to save us but will most definitely end up costing us when they walk out again come May for half the price we paid at best or on a free at absolute worst.

I don't believe we have the resources to adequately rebuild in the close season regardless.  Effectively, our entire team is either too old or useless.  Even with 3 or 4 quality signings now, we'd need another 5 or 6 come May.. I just don't see it.
