One last thing from the FSF

FSF

Ok, this is the last one from me before next season, I promise. Unless you're going to the World Cup, then you'll hear a lot more from some of my colleagues, I'm sure, but I can promise that I'll leave you alone after this. It's just a final bit of tidy up on the Hamburg stuff. Thank you all for your feedback on here and on the ground in Germany - we received some lovely compliments as well as some feedback on how to make things better next time (and there will be a next time).

My last request is that any of you who enjoyed our fanzine Away Goals, or who found our website and constant badgering and posting of information helpful in the lead up to the final (or at any of the other games this season, all the way back to August) would consider joining the FSF. Now it's not going to cost you any money, in fact, it's the opposite. Any new joining member of the FSF receives a free copy of our excellent magazine The Football Supporter by way of thanks.

The reason that we're asking for members is that, by and large, we're only as good as the people who are involved with us. Strength comes in numbers and all that, and while we represent something like 170,000 fans (either as individual members or as members of affiliated supporters' organisations) that number can always grow. We're always keen to be in contact with matchgoing supporters of any and all clubs.

It's often only when people see the work that we do that they become aware of us. Hamburg (or our Ground Guides throughout the Europa League campaign) was probably the first time that the majority on here would have heard of the FSF, but we're far more than just a Ground Guides and European travel information service. We support fans at every level of the game, and are here to help assist and support you in all manner of ways. I won't copy out our whole 'manifesto' here, but feel free to explore our website to find out the sorts of things we do.

Joining the FSF is free, and takes all of 30 seconds to fill out the form on our website - http://www.fsf.org.uk/join.php

Of course, you can always keep in touch with us on Facebook and Twitter, too, if you're part of that newfangled social media stuff - find us at http://www.facebook.com/thefsf or http://www.twitter.com/the_fsf

Thanks for all your comments and support throughout the season - it's been a heck of a ride. Now, enjoy your summer, and get ready and raring to go next season!
