Two nights ago I sat here close to midnight,  and booked a train and match ticket to West Brom, because I still believed in Meulensteen and (against my better judgement, the players).

Well, I no longer believe that this team has either the heart or the know how to finish anything other than bottom.

Sorry but the likes of Kaca, Kasami, Rodellega, and Dejagh have never been good enough, Duff, Hangeland and Parker are shadows of their former selves, and as for Amorebieta and Dempsey, well words fail me. In  fact Dempsey should feel ashamed of using the club in the way he has over the last few weeks.

We are now hoping for 2 miracles - one that Mitroglou, Holtby and co. can make a material difference (can't see it now), and two, that somehow Meulensteen can get the team believing in themselves again.

Tonight we officially became a laughing stock, and that hurts.

Apart from your comment about Rod Laver, I agree.  He was playing well with barely any service and as a natural striker should never have been taken off.

I bought a ticket to West Brom a couple nights ago as well. Doubt I'll go now
