The link above is a list of all our squad numbers since we've been in the premier league.  Numbers arent the end of the world but theres a lot of quirky peculiar things which appear if you look at them

Only 3 players have used the number 2 shirt in the premier league, yet 10 different players have used both the #10 and #9 shirt

Frimpong last year is the only non goalkeeper to wear the number 12, after Stockdale, Warner, Lastuvka, Crossley and Taylor have used it as GKs

Sidwell went from 7 to 4 to back to 7

Trotta has moved number every year hes had a number, 42, 39 and now 29

From 1999 to present, through 4 clubs, Aaron Hughes hasnt changed his number.
