The Equalizer

Does anyone know if Pierce Brosnan was ever listed as one of our famous supporters?

My mum showed me an interview with him that was printed in a local NHS magazine, which came about as a result of him becoming a major sponsor of a local charity at Charing Cross hospital.
He moved to Putney from Ireland in 1964, aged 11 , and lived at 72 Chelverton Road. Shortly after, his family moved to the Munster Road end of Vera Road.
As Mr Corked Hat can attest to, he attended Elliot School in Putney. But the interview also said that he spent a lot of time in Bishops Park (where he watched Aker Bilk on the open air stage), at Harry Hayes record shop on Fulham Road, and getting involved with local sports.

Did anyone on here know him?
"We won't look back on this season with regret, but with pride. Because we won what many teams fail to win in a lifetime – an unprecedented degree of respect and support that saw British football fans unite and cheer on Fulham with heart." Mohammed Al Fayed, May 2010

Yes he attended my old school alright but I have no idea if he supported Fulham. Living where he did and going to a school that used  to be football mad he would have had to be a chance.
Looking back on those days more kids in our school supported Fulham than the other team in SW6 which given that the other team in SW6 won the Premiership (or Championship as it was called then) in 1955 is quite surprising.

He's in my list (which I still haven't gotten round to updating) though I don't think we ever had 100% proof.
