He's just explained on SSN that he's picked a team "that can fight against a better team".

That still doesn't explain Dempsey knowing his recent performances... but I'm willing to give it a chance. My main issue is Holtby is exactly a fighter.

Dempsey over Holtby is just bizarre especially considering the former didn't even make the bench last week. Abysmal and inexplicable decision. Everything good we do comes from Holtby. He's by far and away out best player.

This is amazing. For the first time ever in nearly 40 years of supporting FFC, I can honestly say I would rather every player on the bench was starting instead

I  now starting to be even more gutted Rene has gone, at least he got th team right.
