Fulham FC ponder pre-season friendly at Harrow Borough

Harrow Borough look to have missed out on hosting beaten Europa League finalists Fulham in a pre-season friendly.

Manager David Howell wanted to pit his Ryman Premier League side against Roy Hodgson's slick Premier League outfit, however he thinks that now looks unlikely.

Queens Park Rangers and Birmingham City have agreed to come to Earlsmead on August 2 and 10 respectively and Howell was hopeful the Cottagers would be the latest big name to come help swell Borough's coffers.

"It was going to be Fulham but they cannot commit to anything just yet," said Howell. "I cannot see it happening as they will be looking to enter competitions early on in the season, but it is not dead just yet."

Ive seen Fulham play twice at Harrow Borough, and even saved a penalty from Ivor in the pre match warm up.
