Following the injury picked up by Brede Hangeland in the first half of the clash with Chelsea, the Club can provide the following update.

Brede was given the all-clear to return home from hospital on Saturday evening. He will be reviewed and monitored before a decision is made as to whether or not he meets up with the Norway national team in the coming week.

Our Captain had been involved in a clash of heads with teammate Kieran Richardson during the early stages of the SW6 derby.
@MattRhys63 - be warned, there will be a lot of nonsense

Heard somewhere that he also aggravated his back injury in the collision...?

Nasty stuff. Get well soon Brede.

Fernhurst

Norway no no ...... Wales is far enough
The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

I wish that sports in Europe were as concerned as sports here in the States about the short and long-term effects of concussion. The closeups of Brede looked for all the world that he was concussed. With heading being such a huge aspect of his game, he really needs to avoid any training until about Wednesday.
