Woodrow really impressed me today. I'd like to see his Opta stats because it felt like he won a lot of aerial balls and covered some serious ground to chase the ball down and apply pressure from the front.  I thought he did an excellent job at leading the front line in what was a high pressure game.

Well played!

fulhamben

thought he led the line fantastically today. fantastic first touch, great lay offs and a decent shot on him. he also had the desire to chase lost causes and shut defenders down quickly. very impressed

Let's hope we never see Bent lead the line again!
Excellent from the boy.

grandad

Impressed with his workrate but is he the one who is going to bang in the goals?

It's been a while since we've seen a Fulham striker actually run around and put in a shift. Was great to see even if he hasn't got the technical ability Berbatov had.

Might not be THAT important if we can keep getting goals from Dejagah, Holtby etc.

Especially if he creates space for them like he did today.

beijing ben

He was excellent. Sensible passes made. Shame that goal didnt count (correctly). That would have given him a lot of confidence. So far so good though..

Lighthouse

Couldn't understand why he was picked but he had a good second half and worked hard. Far from the finished article but a willing runner and what we needed today. MOTM
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

Bold selection from Felix -well done to the lad, he will get even better.

Clearances: 2
Aerial duels: 13 attempted, 3 successful...
Fouls committed: 2
Fouls suffered: 1

Did the Greek come on at all?

Herbie

Surprised by the aerial duels stat, it felt like he was having a good battle with their CBs.

He had a solid debut last week in the no10 role & a MotM performance today leading the line. I thought his link up play was excellent & lets not forget he spent the last 10 or more minutes chasing down all their back line on his own

Well played young man

Very pleased with, and proud of, Cauley Woodrow today.
The manager showed confidence in him and he repaid that with a mature and professional display.
He can be praised for his high work rate, but much more for his intelligence, touch and refusal to be intimidated.
Not the full answer to our scoring problems - but may be a big component.

Stockdale probably deserved m.o.m, but young Cauley wasn't far behind.

fulhamrover

He is like Bobby Zamora who by the way scored for QPR today

PokerMatt

Real workhorse and a scrapper. Even with a height disadvantage over most CBs he'll never back down from a header.

Difficult since he was not on the bench

This is what I was going to say -- this was one of the better hold-up/link-up performance I've seen from a Fulham striker since Zamora's good days.
