Poor old Delia, she never did like losing.

FPT

Someone was standing on the edge of Putney Bridge with a suicide attempt. Called for Police boats etc.

Coincidence that Khan went AWOL at half time?

ross_bamping

Some selfish bastard tried to top himself on match day, closing the bridge in one direction. And for what I know, he failed.
Yes, what I say may be seen as 'overdone' or 'harsh', and to be honest I don't care. Please, feel free to argue your case, but remember, I won't back down.

Burt

The bridge was closed in both directions... Assume he was talked out of doing it.

Pluto

He didn't jump and was restrained and taken away by police, who handled the whole thing very well I must say.

Aaron

There are diving boards taller than Putney Bridge..  I don't think the chap could have been too serious about it.

RidgeRider

I'm with Aaron. The times I walked across it, jumping in the river seemed very doable if you wanted to cool off on a hot summer day.

Deanothefulhamfan

The jump wouldn't kill you, but the currents in the thames might....

Drinking it would be quicker...
Why would you kill it, kill it, kill it before it dies?
