To add narrative and one or two changes to my original posting on this thread.

The team I would pick against Crystal Palace would:
- celebrate the success of our youth cup team
- have a basic structure and spine to the team of experienced players who have shown passion and commitment, and likely to play an important transitional / developmental role next season
- all players would only be played in their strongest position

My choice of Hangeland as Captain would be to celebrate his huge contribution to Fulham FC - I would take him off (to massive applause) to be replaced for the final 20 minutes or so, by Dan Burn. Past captain replaced with a future captain!

Tough choice at right back between Reither and Passley, so Passley if Reither injured or ill.

Absolutely no point in playing the loanees; in fact they could be sent back now or as soon as possible.
In order to show intent for next year we should be playing some of the youngsters alongside those older players that Magath deems worthy of keeping.
